Tetralogi Laskar
Pelangi is few of my favorite novels. Laskar Pelangi, Sang Pemimpi, Edensor,
and Maryamah Karpov are great novels.
Laskar Pelangi, a best seller book in Indonesia written by
Andrea Hirata, one of my favorite authors. I believe that everyone know about
it or at least ever heard about it. It’s full of inspiration and motivation; it
shows me another side of education’s world that I never expected before. Andrea
Hirata brought me into a new world; this book gives so many values about life,
friendship, hopes, and many others good values. This book gives me inspiration
how to be a good teacher just like Mrs. Muslimah, Andrea Hirata’s teacher who
never give up to teach no matter how bad the school’s condition or how the very
low payment that she got every months. She teaches with heart and it’s very
hard to found a teacher like her. I hope
I can be a good teacher like her in the future not only a teacher but a friend,
a motivator, and a supporter.
Sang Pemimpi…it’s as great as Laskar Pelangi. It teaches me
to keep my dream and do the best to make it come true. This novel makes me
laugh, think, and also crying every time I read it. Full of joke, it tells
about senior high school moment which is full of love, foolish, hope, and
friendship. The best part of this novel I think is when Ikal picked up her
father went home after put his study results with a bicycle. What a beautiful
moment it was! His father kept smiling even his son’s study result was very
bad… and the best quotes of this book is when Arai said, “Keep on dreaming,
cause God will hugs your dream.”
Then… Edensor, the third novel. Whoa…..truly madly deeply I
feel jealous with Ikal and Arai!!! Edensor show there’s nothing impossible if
we want to try. We have to keep trying no matter how hard it is. If Ikal and
Arai be able to go to Sorbonne University and also Sheffield Hallam University,
traveling from Europe until Africa so that’s a result of their passion. I hope
I can make my dreams come true just like them AAMEEN :D
The last book, Maryamah Karpov. Well, until know I still
don’t know why Andrea Hirata gives this title because I just found that
Maryamah is just mention about three times in this book. However it’s a nice
novel, Ikal’s story really sweet. When he looked for Aling, made a ship and go
sailing… I don’t know it’s true or not but really it’s romantic, absolutely
romantic.
Well for you who never read these novels I RECOMMENDED these
novels to you…!!!
